Adventure meets Asia’s golden age of allure aboard Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train. Three-night journeys departing from Singapore whisk guests to the cultural marvels, unseen landscapes and cosmopolitan cities of Malaysia. The train echoes the grand adventures of a bygone era, when richly opulent interiors set the scene for luxuriously slow travel. At the same time, guests experience the dynamic modern creativity of Southeast Asia.

The train’s recently remodelled interiors blend art deco details, artisanal Thai furnishings and intricate Malay marquetry. Elegant, air-conditioned cabins offer large picture windows, ensuite shower rooms and every comfort. The magnificent Presidential Suite includes free-flowing champagne and private transfers. In the open-air Observation Car, guests enjoy unobstructed views of the surroundings as they’re enveloped in the sights, sounds and scents of Malaysia. The Dior Spa offers Asian-inspired treatments faithful to the holistic Dior vision of beauty and mindfulness.

Itineraries include immersive off-train excursions guided by local experts. Experiences embrace the art, architecture and gastronomy of Penang, Langkawi’s heavenly Pulau Payar Marine Park, and Taman Negara National Park, home to ancient caves and a wealth of wildlife, including the endangered Malayan tiger.
